I am sad to say that my first term at
Child's Play Challenges is officially over. :( I had a
blast designing for Tiffany and look forward to another term with her and the rest of the amazing ladies on the team! This was my first design team and it is truly a blast!! I will be back for another term because Tiffany hasn't got rid of me just yet! ;) This week was a classic story book challenge.
The inspiration:
I personally know
nothing about this book. Also, it
rarely snows in Charleston! So, I was a bit stuck on what to do with this one, but luckily I dug up some of Kylee's first Christmas pictures! What do ya know, she had on penguin in snow pjs! Sweet!
My layout:
I used the red background and added a few snowflakes for embellishments. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but it is tough to create snowy layouts without snow! This book reminded me of Christmas time because of the snow, so I went with a Christmasy page. Also, Kylee has on a red hat in the pictures. ;) I also used a
Creative Scrappers sketch for this one, it was #235!
